Our flower of salt is obtained from our traditional salt pans. The salt pans consist of hollows which are formed in the sand and gradually flooded with seawater. In the course of production, this water is constantly put to stringent analytical controls.
In the water evaporation process, two 100% natural factors alone are involved: the actions of the sun and the wind. This is the reason why Flor del Delta flower of salt is always harvested between the months of June and September. As opposed to sea salt, Flor del Delta is dietetically healthful and rich in gustatory nuances since it contains a clearly lower amount of sodium chloride.
Another added value is its high content in trace elements and essential minerals such as magnesium and potassium, among others. |
